I have a custom build pc with Windows 7 x64 installed, and I'm experiencing an odd problem with the onboard IEEE controller. I don't have any firewire devices attached to the PC it has one mini-connector on front and a regular size on in the backbut the entry for the host controller itself looks Texas instruments 1394 ohci compliant host controller windows 7 download free strange in Device Manager.

Driver details contain one file, ohci. That's not my biggest problem. The biggest problem is, that due to those controllers my M-audio audiodevice is not working anymore. This is a PCI audio device, but at the moment that the controllers appeared, my M-audio device disappeared and thus I can't use it. This is driving me crazy since everything else on my Win7 installation is working so well.
Any clues as what could be wrong and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated, and I will happily supply any additional troubleshooting information. Wait to see if a more current driver is found. If one is found, click Close and test out to see if your speed has increased. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
